November 24, Teachers’ Day- 2020

November 24, National Teachers' Day was celebrated at Boğaziçi University with a panel titled "Teaching in the Pandemic" held online on the Zoom platform.

In the opening speech of the event held on November 24, 2020,  Prof. Mehmed Özkan, Rector of Boğaziçi University, stated that “the only constant need in our country is the need for quality education”, and   Prof. Yasemin Bayyurt, Dean of Faculty of Education, mentioned "the characteristics that a qualified teacher should have to be a model for the students" in her speech.
